Training philosophy:I try to teach my clients to focus on how they feel, how well they perform and how much they have improved as opposed to how good they look. For once, they aim to reach a performance goal, put in the work and then achieve it. Their confidence and self esteem grow to an all time high allowing them to do more than they ever thought possible. Not only with exercise but also in life. And most interestingly, their body begins to change shape into the athletic, fit person they always wanted to be. I have been a personal trainer for 3 years now and have always possessed a great passion for all types of sports. Having played basketball at A grade level for 20 years, along with tennis, football and cricket, (most recently distance running and cycling have taken my interest) I have continually been looking to take my fitness to a new level. However, It has not always been easy. I have sustained multiple injuries from my sports, which led me to become more involved with rehabilitation and strength training. This, along with my passion for sports, led me to the fitness industry. Through trial and error on my own body I am now fitter and stronger than ever as I have a well balanced lifestyle with nutrition and exercise. Basically I train smarter not harder and look after my body appropriately. Personal training gives me the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and expertise in these areas in order to help others reach their goals. And for me the most satisfying feeling is watching someone achieve things they thought were impossible.
