This is the most effective athletic training program we have ever created for developing explosive power and speed, cat-like agility and balance and, most of all, the unshakable confidence that only supreme fitness gives you.

This is a class for 15 men and women aged 18-48 who want to “push the envelope” to discover how high is high for you.  Whether you’re a competitive athlete, a weekend warrior, or someone who is always searching for ways to “better your best”, you are invited to apply for Your Next Gear. It’s a 30-day program that can raise your game faster than anything you could ever do on your own, or any other program you may be considering.

If you qualify to be part of our 30-day test program here at No Regrets Personal Training beginning May 26th 2012, you can win a $300 reward given to the athlete with the highest score at the end of 30 days.

WHAT IS NEXT GEAR? 

· Group Training Program can also been done as one on one training )of twice a week for 4 weeks. You must not miss one session as these are crucial to the success of the program.

· Customised individualprogram issued with photos and description of exercises to ensure youcan execute with precision, which in turn will maximise your results, and maintain your success long term. A workout log along with a food diary must be submitted to be eligible for the $300 PRIZE.

· A comprehensive testing procedure using latest scientific training methods across all elements of fitness - strength, power, speed, endurance, agility, balance, flexibility, co-ordination to assess your strengths and weakness. Remember “you are only as strong as your weakest link” This is how we determine the $300 PRIZE! This is based on % improvement across all the tests that are performed in week 1.

· Use of complex training tools such as Extreme Balance Boards, BOSU, Body Blade and VIPR to improve nervous system adaptation. This allows the body to enhance movement mechanics and skills to allow powerful leg and arm actions, effective braking skills and direction change.

We perform tests across all different Bio-motor abilities to ensure success for our clients. Here is a quick summary of what is involved in our testing session. 

Postural Assessment, Abdominal Strength testing, Sport Specific Strength Testing, Balance Test, Agility test, Co-Ordination Test, Flexibility test, Speed Test, Power Test, Endurance Test.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

Two 60 minute sessions per week for 4 weeks incorporating various training abilities such as balance, speed, agility, power, strength, co-ordination. 

WHERE WILL THE TRAINING BE HELD?

At the No Regrets Studio 10 / 18-20 Redland Drive Mitcham for all strength, balance sessions. Speed, Agility  and organised chaos workouts will be performed on the at Ringwood Athletics Track or nearby park.

WHEN DOES THE PROGRAM START?

The program begins Saturday May 26th at 10am and Wednesday night  at 7pm

This GROUP TRAINING WORKSHOP is designed to teach you how to train the abdominals correctly to improve posture, prevent injury or improve sport performance.

CORE ESSENTIALS  is a 8 week course designed to teach you about your abdominals and introduce new, effective exercises for improving your core strength and funtcion with a high focus on technique, empowering you to get more from your workouts.

What is my CORE?

Your CORE is more than just your “Abs”. It consists of 4 key muscles which keep your posture in good stead and assists your body to bend and flex for every day movement. You’ll learn where these muscles are, what they do and how you can improve their strength and flexibility for optimum performance in both your training
and your everday life.

CORE ESSENTIAL Session Prices

Class sizes will be limited to a maximum of 8 people to ensure everyone is clear on the instructions and can receive enough individual time from the trainer.

Week 1 Posture and Abdominal assessments

How to correctly recruit your abdominal muscles In this workshop you will understand the correct breathing technique for activating your CORE and how some simple adjustments to bad habits can improve your strength by as much as 40%!

Week 2 Stretching

This week you will find out if you need to do more stretching or to avoid it and strengthen weak muscles! You will be given your own individualised stretching program and learn the secrets of how and when to stretch to get the best results.

Week 3 How to use Swiss balls

Effectively using Swiss balls to enhance CORE function, improve stability in all planes of movement and teach the body skills and techniques required to prevent injury and improve performance. One of the most fun workshops we have ever done.

Week 4 Balance

An often overlooked element of strength, we test and assess your balance across different movements and show you how with some simple exercises you can become a balance expert. Advanced training tools such as the BOSU, Extreme Balance Boards & Swiss balls are used this week to challenge you and take you to the next level!

Week 5 Shoulders – The best exercises for preventing

shoulder injury 

All too often we come across shoulder injuries and in many cases they could have been avoided if the client was following a well structured strength training and stretching program. In this workshop we show you the most effective lessons we have learnt to address the most common shoulder injuries people suffer.                                                                                                                        

Week 6 All about Back Injury –

How to prevent and what to do if you suffer from back pain

85% of the population will at some point suffer from severe back pain, so it is no surprise we had to include a specific back pain workshop. This lesson is packed full of the best tips and exercises we have spent over 7 years putting together. An absolute must attend if you currently have back pain!                                           

Week 7 Integration - Strength Training the Whole Body

It is now that we should be starting to have some solid foundations and be looking at progressing to more “real life” movements and the goal of this sessions is to teach you the fundamental movements to ensure success. We show you the key exercises required for full body strength.

Week 8 Putting it all together

This is the fun week where we include a bit of all of the previous 8 weeks into a CORE ESSENTIALS circuit!
