Our business is dedicated to helping women and men achieve their health and fitness goals through customized nutrition and fitness programs. We have a highly skilled and qualified team of trainers who are educated across many platforms of rehabilitation, nutrition, life coaching and sports performance and we are always looking to expand our team as we continue to grow and develop our exciting programs. We closely follow the CHEK principles of health and have earned a strong reputation in the Mitcham area as the best training facility for injury management and prevention, and more recently sports performance. Our advanced programming allows us to train everyone from professional athletes to complicated rehabilitation conditions however it is quite complex to learn as a trainer and be able to begin training our clients using these principles. We currently have 2 Exercise Physiologists, a qualified Chef, massage therapist and even a VFL Football player in our team (see our team), and we are expanding our Sports Specific Program so quickly we cannot keep up with the amount of work.

Business is booming!

Over the past 12 months as we have developed our programs our client list has grown considerably and we are now needing another trainer to join the team. We are looking for a person who wants to make this their full time career. We need someone who is willing to start at the beginning and learn what it takes to become a full time Sports Conditioning and Rehabilitation trainer / coach. We need a Professional Personal Trainer or Exercise Physiologist who is enthusiastic, motivated, highly organized and energetic person to start training some of our current clients immediately. Experience is not essential but highly recommended as it will enable you to move into training people faster.

If you are hired for this coaching position, you'll begin coaching clients in our studio right away as we are bursting at the seams with requests for more training. Our studio offers a casual, fun environment, nice training equipment and the opportunity to learn the inner-workings of a successful personal training department. You will be compensated fairly, treated fairly and I will certainly look for ways to pay you more for your efforts if they warrant it. We will provide you with an internal training program that will take between 3-6 months to learn. This includes DVD's, training manuals with exams along with practical learning workshops. If you were to pay for these courses yourself it would cost you anywhere from $10k - $20k! By working with us you can learn this for free! So you can see why we want someone who is highly organized, passionate about Functional Strength Training, Postural Correction and rehabilitation but also enjoys working with people and making a difference in the lives of others - because that's what we do at No Regrets Personal Training.

Tasks You'll Be Expected To Perform

  • Develop Comprehensive Health & Fitness Programs For Clients: You'll receive coaching and training on ALL of our fitness system and programs, but you'll have flexibility to incorporate your training style and knowledge.
  • Tracking Client Progress: In order to ensure a client's success in our programs, you'll need to track weekly progress, current successes and challenges, review client nutrition and exercise log worksheets and more on a weekly basis.  It will be your job to hold a client accountable to his/her health and fitness program to ensure the best results possible.
  • Perform Advanced Screening Evaluations:  Ideally, you'll have some basic fitness assessment skills and can test for: Posture, body composition, body weight, girth measurements, blood pressure, heart rate and various strength and flexibility tests. We also need a trainer who has some understanding of Sports Conditioning assessments or Rehab assessments, as we are slowly expanding our Sports Conditioning program. We will teach you our more advanced methods as you go that will help to get exact measurements but we would expect you have some experience assessing movements and basic posture.
  • Coach clients through 16-week program: You'll be responsible for weekly exercise sessions and keeping detailed weekly progress reports on the clients your working with. If a client is having challenges throughout his/her program, you'll coach and motivate client and make appropriate changes to ensure consistent progress. Learning how to use our online training website to provide digital programs is a big part of our success and a great learning tool for program design with our new trainers.
  • Demonstrate Proper Exercise Instruction: This is a big one. I need you to be able to provide proper coaching, instruction, and motivation during a client training session. You MUST have excellent knowledge of the human body (i.e. muscles, movements, functions, etc) and be able to provide appropriate exercises for client's goals.
  • Provide Ongoing Health and Fitness Education: Our clients rely on us to service all of their health and fitness needs. It is your job as a fitness coach to provide your clients with health and fitness education on various topics that will empower them to lead healthy lives forever. You'll be provided with educational tools and resources, will be expected to study them and speak about them with your clients. We also spend time covering this in our weekly staff meetings.
